A small human exchange

A reason, passed forward.

Reasons Forward gives one person a letter from someone who has been through a difficult stretch and chose to write back.

How it works

Someone writes from lived experience. A moderator reads the letter for safety and privacy. One letter is then offered to the next stranger who arrives—no account and no public name.

Human, with care

Every published letter is written by a person. No AI-generated letters enter the live queue. Moderators can decline or lightly edit submissions that identify someone, prescribe treatment, promote a product or include unsafe detail.

What it is not

This is not therapy, professional advice or crisis support. A letter may resonate, or it may not. You can take what helps and leave the rest.

Whose project is this?

Reasons Forward is Maka's project, created to make honest support feel less distant and more personal. The digital experience is delivered with Penny Wise I.T. and powered by Hughesey Que.
